Workout Wednesday


Another week closer to Christmas!! We moved onto new videos this week as well.

Friday, November 18th, 2016 - Cardio Day - DONE!  Twin 1 did 30 min Stationary bike. Twin 2 did a 5k with Twin 1 as well and the pups and we went down a DARK street and a car stopped right beside us and we were a little frightened.  Luckily we were close to the main drag and we picked up some speed to get to the light.  It was dark but have no fear, we were dressed up like Christmas trees with all our lights and reflectors.

Saturday, November 19th, 2016 - REST DAY! also  HAIRCUT DAY for all the sisters.

Sunday, November 20th, 2016 - JM video 3 - DONE!

Monday, November 21st, 2016 - JM video 4 - DONE!  Also Twin 1 and Sister Wi went for a 5k around Wi's neighborhood.  It started raining and almost snow.  Miserable.

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016 - Cardio Day -  DONE! Twin 1 did 30 min bike.  Also Twin 1 and Sister Wi went for a 5k around Twin 1's neighborhood and to get away from the traffic noise we had to do some HILLS!  Twin 2 didn't go her cardio as she was making up a video she missed.  But she'll be back on track tomorrow.

Tips for Exercise

MAKE IT CONVIENENT
If you want exercise to become a habit, make it fit easily into your schedule

BE REALISTIC
Expect at least a couple of weeks to go by before you start to notice any changes in your body.

SET REASONABLE GOALS
Instead of focusing on one large goal, set smaller incremental goals - you'll feel a sense of achievement more frequently.

BE FLEXIBLE
If you normally schedule three weekly workouts but events get in the way, try the more flexible schedule of 12 times per month.

FIND THE RIGHT ACTIVITY
Experiment.  Try different activities to see which ones you like the best.

Friday, November 11th, 2016 - Cardio Day - DONE!  Twin 1 was down home getting puppies but took the dogs for a walk when she got home.  Twin 2 did 30 min bike.

Saturday, November 12th, 2016 - REST DAY! Twin 1 and sister Wi took the dogs for a 6k walk.  it was FREEZING and some snow!  Then we started on our annual PB cup making factory. One batch done!

Sunday, November 13th, 2016 - JM video 3 - New videos for the next two weeks.  - DONE!
Also went to Long Lake for about 30 min with the pups.  This was first day in 5 weeks that Onyx was running around off leash.  One more week and she should be good to go.

Monday, November 14th, 2016 - JM video 4 - DONE! Twin 1 and Sister Wi went for a 5k with the pups

Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 - Cardio Day - Twin 1 did 35 min bike listening to Chalene podcast and did 35 min as that was how long the podcast was. - Twin 1, Sister Wi and her hubby went for a 5.36k walk with the pups.  Twin 2 wasn't feeling well so she rested.

Workout Wednesday

Another week has passed.  Onto Week 2 of the 90 Day Body Revolution

Wednesday, November 2 - JM video 1 - DONE

Thursday, November 3 - JM video 2 - Twin 1 - DONE!  We also took the dogs for a 5k walk around Brunello Golf Course which we used for our cardio on Friday as Friday is cardio day.

Friday, November 4 - Cardio Day - took the dogs for a 5K the previous night for this.  Also took them for another one in the evening.

Saturday, November 5 - REST DAY! Twin 1 and Sister Wi did 5.89k around Brunello Golf course.  It was a frosty morning.  Twin 2 had an eye appointment and then we went SHOPPING.

Sunday, November 6 - JM Video 1 - DONE

Monday, November 7 - JM Video 2 -DONE

Tuesday, November 8 - Cardio Day - DONE - Twin 1 did the bike for 30 minutes and Twin 2 did a 25 min HIIT workout.

The Season Is Nigh

PSL's are out.  Look what's in!


We are having our first one on Saturday November 19th at THE CHRONICLE HERALD PARADE OF LIGHTS!!

This is the season where Xmas parties are being booked and Xmas baking will be taking place.  The hustle and bustle of the retail scene has already started.

There is finally a sign up on the BLT trail for bikers to RING THAT BELL or SOUND THAT HORN!.  Finally! but some riders still don't.


We have yet to take the bikes from Twin 1's to Twin 2's....maybe this weekend? It's getting colder.

Workout Wednesday

After taking a week off of working out to a set schedule we have decided to give Jillian Michaels 90 Day Body Revolution another go.  We have ALMOST come close to finishing it but never did and we all know that ALMOST ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH.

We started it on Sunday October 30th and we work out 6 days a week. Two days a week we are to do cardio video but we have decided we can either do cardio video or bike or run.  We want to keep up running so may work running into those days.

Sunday - October 30th, 2016 - Video 1 - DONE!

Monday - October 31st, 2016 - Video 2 - DONE! (Twin 2 did this on Tuesday as it was Halloween night and she was passing out treats)

Tuesday - November 1st, 2016 - Cardio 1 - DONE! We chose to do 30 min bike.
