Turkey, Potatoes & Apple Thing (we get our made up recipe name thing from our Mother)
We tried a new “meal” recently as we were looking for
something “different” to cook. This one
had three ingredients so how hard could it be?
2 apples
2 potatoes (original calls for sweet potatoes)
Pack of Turkey sausage (original calls for chicken sausage)
Preheat oven to 400
Cut up all items, put in bowl, mix in 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable
oil (olive oil), add some rosemary (we only had Montreal steak spice so we
throw that in) and put in 9x13 glass dish.
Put in oven for 40 min mixing up half way through.
Ta Da!
It tastes like “hash” for those of you who know what “hash”
tastes like (or knows what we are talking about) but the apple adds a bit of
surprise. Also the more Montreal Steak
Spice you put on the spicier it is.
Zucchini
This is also a new item on our menu. Sister Wi introduced it and we have just been
frying it up in vegetable oil (olive oil) and eating it. The below pictures is mixed with peppers and
onions. We have used it on our personal
pita pizzas as well.
