Motivational Monday

We've been recently trying to get back into running and most people are guilty, including ourselves, with the negative thought of how slow of a runner you are and people may not want to run with you for that reason.  Here's a little article to put things in perspective and just get out there and run.

A member of our local running group posted this on Facebook as a comment to the article which is a better way to look at it.

"Slow is the wrong term. Easy is a better term. "Easy" means at a pace you can breathe easy, chat and can recover from for the next day. Almost all runs, regardless of how experienced you are, should be like this.
Easy means you are far less likely to get injured. Less injured means you get to run more and that is how you get to run faster, by being consistent."
