Cheese & Bacon Pull-Apart Review

Twin 2 was on the hunt for a pizza for her husband at Costco one day.  They didn't have any made but she found this Cheese & Bacon Pull-Apart, which she assumed would be as tasty as pizza.

WRONG!  While it looks like a tasty pizza bread and the first bite was good, the aftertaste was not.  We think the problem is it's not real cheese that is used.  It's a powdered kinda cheese and tastes like the fake nacho cheese that you'll get a hockey game or something at the concession stands.  We ended up throwing at least half of it out.  This will not be bought again and we give it a big thumbs down.  It was quite a disappointment.

2017 Gambles

If you can recall last year on New Year's Eve we got together with our husbands and made monetary bets (because our bucket list wasn't enough and we LOVE gambling!).  Here's how we fared out:

Bet #1: Every 5k Twin 2 bikes/run/walks with hubby, hubby will place in trust for Twin 2 $1  (Hoping that will be at least $365 at the end of the year lol). - Grand Total of $103

Bet #2: Twin 1's hubby will give Twin 1 & Twin 2 $100 each if she reaches 2017 km in 2017 by biking or running (yes, we're trying this again). - NEGATIVE

Bet #3: Twin 1 will pay her hubby $100 if he weighs 185 lbs or less at 8 pm on December 31, 2017. - NEGATIVE

Bet #4: Twin 1's hubby will give Twin 2 $10 from every pay and Twin 2 will match it on December 31, 2017. - Grand Total of $100.

2/4.  Not bad.

How Did We Do?

2017 Bucket List Recap

Every year we like to look at our yearly goals/bucket list to see what we actually accomplished.

1. Bike to Chester - NO
2. Wear leggings/dress - NO
3. Buy a foam roller - Yes, Twin 1 received one from a friend...maybe this year the goal will be to actually use it more than a handful of times.  Twin 2 bought the roller ball massager which she still hasn't reviewed on here for you.
4. Finish JM 90 Day Body Revolution by mid February - So close but no cigar however, we did complete a three month strength training program in the spring, so it is possible.

6. Run another 10k - NO
7. Check out the Designer Outlet in Bayers Lake - NO - its just around the corner but we can't seem to "find the time" to go LOL
8. Run in shorts/sports bra (probably not at same time) in summer - NO

Wha'd up

Last Thursday as the American Thanksgiving.  Twin 2 and her husband's tradition is to order the Festive Special at Swiss Chalet after work and watch football.  Twin 2's husband had other plans that night but Twin 2 carried on the tradition by herself.

Sorry it's sideways.

We both took last Friday off and we did a little bit of shopping and got our usual Saturday errands done on Friday, which was nice.  After that we took the doggies to Long Lake and it was a beautiful day.

Saturday morning after our run we had our 6 week hair cut appointment with Orla at Dime.  We love these days.

Last Sunday evening we were supposed to go out to our friend B's in Bedford to watch the Parade but it POURED! So instead we told him we were coming out for Spaghetti supper this past Sunday, which we did.  It was good!!!

Before the supper Twin 1 and her hubs did some Xmas shopping and found these at the Dollarstore for the pups.  Now lets hope they don't chew them to pieces while we are at work.
