Today
Winter is still hanging around a little bit. We were supposed to get a nor'easter last night but woke up to green grass. Now its supposed to come today and it all depends on what weather person/station you listen to. I guess we will see when it happens.
We've still been running when its fit. The trails were clear and last Saturday they were some parts clear and some still snowy/icy.
We move up to 10/1 and after a few weeks we will be moving up km's at least one run a week anyway.

Twin 1 Won
Twin 1's work was doing a Step Up to Heart Health Challenge to see who could get the most steps between Feb 14 - Feb 28 and Twin 1 Won!
She 'walked’ away with a
total number of steps being 202,569!!

The motivation was a gentleman at work came in the lunch room the very first day bragging about how he was going to win blah blah blah......yeah he was the one who only got 110,660 but good for him!
Twin 1 would like to thank her running buddies Twin 2 and CF and also her dogs her make her get out as well.
The prize was to be a gift card but the committee was too sick to go out and get one so she got $50 Cash!

The Oven Handle
Twin 1 asked her husband if he would fix the oven door handle as one side was very loose. We assumed it would be easy but we had to look up on You Tube to see how it was done.
Apparently you have to take the door off the oven and all apart.
It would have been an opportunity to clean the oven but she did not.

Randomness
First off, sorry we haven't been that consistent with our blog lately. We have some things we are trying to work on and we'll see where that takes us. Hopefully we'll have something to report soon. Our goal is, at least, by March 1.
In the meantime, some random pics for you. As you read this post you will see that we also need to work on uploading
the pictures the right way...not sure what's happening or how to rotate
once posted.
1. Twin 2 purchased a spiralizer and we have been having some fun with that. So far we have just spiralized sweet potato and zucchini and made turkey spaghetti out of the noodles. Very tasty.

2. Twin 2 got a food processor for Christmas. One of our recipes called for coconut butter. We searched the city high and low for it everywhere, with no luck. We decided to make it ourselves. Pretty simple recipe: pour coconut flakes in food process and process until buttery. DONE.

3. Twin 2 had a Superbowl get together during the game and her and Billy were dressed the same.
4. Twin 2 and her husband always argue whether they have a gas light in their vehicle. Her husband will drive the vehicle until it's empty however, Twin 2 always fills up when the gage reaches 1/4 full. Usually she fills up the tank on one of her run nights (not to say hubby can't do it any day of the week as he drives the vehicle to work). One week we didn't run for whatever reason so she didn't put gas in the car. Hubby didn't notice the gas gage. Driving home from work he looked down at the dash and it was confirmed, we did have a gas light. He had no idea how long the light was on so luckily when he noticed we were about 10 feet from a gas station so we filled er up. At least we know.
